From Manhattan, take the #6X/PELHAM
BAY PARK subway to to the end of the line (177th Street/Parkchester station).
Try to get a #6 train that runs express in the Bronx. You may also want
to take a #4 or #5 express train to 125th street and change to the #6 Bronx express there,
right across the platform.
At 177th Street, exit the station at the front of the train, following the signs for the Bx14 bus.
The bus stop is at the corner with Baskin Robbins, Dunkin Donuts and CVS.
Take the Bx14 bus to the last stop (Ampere Avenue at Research Avenue). The
Knights Of Columbus Hall is right across the Ampere Avenue.
The Bx14 bus runs every 15-20 minutes and takes 35 minutes.
Approximate travel time from
Union Square in Manhattan: 1 1/2 hours. Note that the last return buses are at 10:15 and 10:45, per the bus schedule.

Take the BxM9/THROGGS NECK
Epress bus from MADISON AVE & 23rd
STREET to the end of the line (Layton and Clarence Avenues).
Proceed down Layton
to the next cross street (Dean St). Turn left onto Dean St,
walk past Providence Rest Home construction site. The name of the street changes to Stadium Avenue.
Continue down Stadium Avenue to Ampere Avenue, turn right onto Ampere, and walk
to the next corner (Research Avenue). The Knights of Columbus Hall is diagonally across the intersection.

Madison Square in Manhattan: 1 hour bus and 20-25 minutes walk. Note that the last return buses are at 10:00 and 11:00PM, per the bus schedule

Parkway to the NYS Thruway, go over the Tappan Zee
Bridge. Continue on Thruway to second exit: Exit 8 --
Cross Westchester Expressway (Route 287 East). Take 287
East to first Exit on your right -Exit 1. Take the fork
on your right to Elmsford. At the end of the ramp, turn
right on Route 119. Hotel is on your left. Go to
the second light, make a U turn and go onto the Hotel ramp to
the parking lot. |

the Henry Hudson Parkway (Route #9) north to the Saw
Mill Parkway, north. Follow for approximately 15 miles
to Route 684 north. Follow to Exit for Route 84 east to
Danbury. Follow Route 84 through Hartford, Connecticut,
and up to the Massachusetts Turnpike, east. Follow for
approximately 10 miles to Exit #10, Route 290 Worcester.
Take Route 290 east. Follow through the city to Exit 24,
Church Street, Northborough/Boylston. Follow to Boylston
3 miles. Entrance to Tower Hill is on right; dark red
sign designates entrance. |
